 Hose Caps 
A cap is a hose fitting that is
designed to attach on over the outside of a tube end. The purpose is to
dead-end / stop the flow. For instance, plastic hose caps are used to
cover rigid tube and hose ends as well as to prevent slippage over the
fitting though the primary application for these caps is hose assembly
manufacturing.
These caps can be fitted or attached in a number of ways. Various
attachment techniques, depending on application and material, include

popularly used to seal off unused hoses. They fit over the metal
mouthpiece of the hose for an air tight seal. These can be fabricated to
be compatible with any size hookah hose and have high heat resistance.
